AP: Turnout shaping up to be lower than 2008
WHITE HOUSE INSIDER: “SHUT UP. MOVE ON…OR NOT.”
I’m hearing something like 8 million fewer votes. And we don’t win with those #s? That means no Republican pick ups? How is that possible? Don’t know. Doesn’t make any sense. There is no previous election to hold 2012 up against in comparison....
To give you a taste of what I’m doing now I’ll share this with you. I’m using a Florida outcome in a specific district to try and wrap my head around all of this. Three counties. Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach. Martin is controlled by Republicans and the turnout #s match what all our national trending showed. Big enthusiasm for the Republican candidate. Republican vote dominated Martin County. St. Lucie and Palm Beach are the real tests and is where the #s really start to signal something is wrong. St. Lucie leans Democrat. Palm Beach is Dem dominated. St. Lucie showed marginally less votes for Democrats % wise. Republicans enjoyed some cross-over which is what all the national models were indicating. In Palm Beach County which is Dem. dominated, voter turnout was even more depressed than prior elections, especially for the Democrats. But the Democrats won the district. The Republicans lost. Basically, the Democrat-dominated counties seem to be where some very odd #s came back. And if this is the model they utilized last night, they had to have done it in multiple counties for every swing state. That kind of coordination would be huge. And it would need the help of operatives from the other side. So I’m sitting here trying to figure out if the #s represent real voter outcome, which means almost all our internals were way the f-ck off, or how they pulled off fraud.
WHI is understandably freaking out given his/her (likely his) previous confidence. For all of the Democrats' worries about Romney family control of voting machines in a crucial Ohio swing county...

“Governor Romney Is Gonna Win This Thing”
UM: So there are no clean elections?
WHI: Not in my experience son. Not even close. I will say this though…Romney…the Romney campaign. They are about as clean as I’ve seen. And I ain’t sayin’ that just because…you know. It’s the truth. Which is a good thing in a way…but in another way…it worries me. Got an ulcer the size of my fist, swear to God…I’d feel better if they played a little more dirty on that end of things. Just for some peace of mind. It’s usually not the candidate who is the campaign crook. It’s…it’s the rest of us. We do the down n dirty, right? But Romney…he’s made it clear the campaign isn’t to go there.
Karl Rove, experienced in anything but taking the high road, either detected tampering from the sidelines, or had his own operation hi-jacked...
BradBlog: FOX 'NEWS' CALLS IT FOR OBAMA, BUT...
8:29pm PT ... Chris Wallace just reported he heard from the Romney campaign "who is unhappy with us for calling Ohio for Barack Obama". Karl Rove makes a case that Romney can still win Ohio, says the call by Fox is "premature"...
UPDATE 8:53pm PT: The Ohio Secretary of State's Election Night Results website is now down. Echo of 2004 when it also went down right around right now?...
UPDATE 9:14pm PT: OH Sec. of State's Results server is still down, though the rest of the site is up and working fine. The same thing is also true for Cuyahoga County (Cleveland), OH's website, which is working, but it's Election Results server is not...
UPDATE 9:30pm PT: The OH Sec. of State's server comes back up, shows Obama leading by 70k. And, as it does, Rove seems to suddenly back down and Fox "News" announces that Romney will, in fact, concede shortly...
With Florida still too close to call and hundreds of thousands of votes still out in Ohio (including a large hunk of votes in Romney strongholds), and with a spread of about 100,000 votes separating the candidates in Ohio, Fox called Ohio for Obama. Karl Rove arranged to come on the Fox network to voice his rebuttal.
Now, whatever you think of Rove, I think most of us agree that he's a numbers guy. His numbers didn't support the calling of the state of Ohio at that point in time. When he explained his reasoning, the Fox anchor quickly shut him down. "It's a science" he was told.
Based not on actual votes, but on projections from a single private entity, the National Election Pool (NEP), we were all told what the election results were going to be. When Rove pulled out his notes and calculations, he was basically told "Shut up, this is a science."
Mitt Romney puts up the same numbers and states just like John McCain. That is from the same program which Obama had run for him in 2008 in vote flipping. That is the MISTAKE that Obama made and is exclusive here as it reveals the algorythmns are unable to be rigged to nuance the data.
