What happens when another country's child grows up to be Commander in Chief? As Alexander Hamilton expresses it, a foreign power may gain "an improper ascendant in our councils. How could they better gratify this, than by raising a creature of their own to the chief magistracy of the Union?” (The Federalist Papers, LXVIII.)

So, for instance, the creature of their own fights the other country's war...

Thus, demonstrating the cogent rational for the constitutional requirement that POTUS be a "natural born citizen": born under U.S. jurisdiction to parents, both of whom are American citizens. Of course, it's not too much of a worry that Obama could become a pawn to Kenyan interests; but, as we argued in Compromised by Birth, the record of his foreign citizenship, and moreover of his dubious identity, could be exploited by any ulterior interest, be it foreign (i.e. British or Israeli) or domestic (i.e. military-industrial complex or financial oligarchy) to steer his policy making against the interests of the vast majority of Americans. He must have known that his presidency, and the legacy by which he will be remembered, could never be his own - if he ever wished to be highly regarded by his fellow Americans and their posterity. Yet he went ahead and snatched the hollow prize. How could he? We cannot begin to attempt to answer this, but will leave it to the psychological profilers at...

On the other hand, it could be that he is a natural born citizen if he is in fact the bastard son of a yet to be identified U.S. citizen. There is a case to be made that Barack H. Obama Sr. is not the natural father of the boy that grew up to be Barack H. Obama Jr., with a smorgasborg of theories as to who his real father is, from Frank Marshal Davis to Paul Robeson to Malcolm X. Of course, if one of the above were his father, we'd wager that each would be ashamed to call him son today, for reasons we have been documenting for some time.



We have already dealt with the alleged Frank Marshal Davis paternity in our Sex Rebel: Black review. As for a Paul Robeson or Malcolm X paternity, we doubt it; but for the sake of entertaining these hypotheses...
